History[]
- Rushingriver joins ShadowClan as a warrior. He seems concerned that he is the only tom in ShadowClan. Emeraldstar reassures him suggesting that they need more queens, but he rejects saying that to have queens, their must be more toms. He soon falls in love with Solarmist and they meet in the ShadowClan camp. They realize they both love each other, and become mates.
- Rushingriver is seen at the Gathering sitting by Solarmist. He objects to Leopardpaw's idea of shortening border patrols.
- When Amelia joins ShadowClan, Rushingriver is asked by Featherstar to temporaily mentor her, though she, Amelia, says she is experienced.
